Small market; good for household groceries and the like, but don't be too ambitious! There's a samosa wala here who's wares are very popular - and they're really good - but that's about it.

At GBPUAT we have this smaller market place. There are around 10-15 shops here at chhoti market. You have one or two dhabas,two stationary shop, general stores,sweet shop,electrician, mechanic,tailor as well as a barber shop. This is daily need based market and you can't expect much. Though it's quite helpful for students staying in nearby hostels.

Its is a basic market where you can get almost all necessary things a student want but the problem is that first year students are not allowed, because often seniors perform inleagel activity such as ragging etc. You will also find fartyal there which best restaurant(daba).

This called choti market of Pantnagar. You can get every item used in daily life. Except it you can get photo copy shops, tailor shops, barber, stationary, mobile repairing, thesis binding, counter for making different affidavit which can be used in university and other works, book shop, cycle reparing shop, bike repairing and many other stationary shops. You can get best food material and you can also come here for dinner and lunch.

Really helpful for students as they can get all necessary things here. First year is not allowed but it's a fun challenge if you are up to it
