I am a student of ND DAV Public school, KUMARGANJ, AYODHYA.
I study in class 10th.
And my Board exam centre - Jingle Bell Academy Vishnupuri, Ayodhya (UP).
I am very excited for my board exam 😊.
Classroom Infrastructure - Average. They make small kids sit on the carpet/rugs. Imagine, 30 kids first walking on these rugs with their shoes and then sitting on the same. And the rugs/mats are extremely dirty. So, better to give immunity increasing food/meds to your kids so that they don't fall sick
Teaching Skills - Average. Most of the teachers in the primary school don't know proper English. 90% of the time, they talk and teach in Hindi. Teachers don't know concepts of Grammar properly and verbal English skills are poor. Don't get fooled that it is an English Medium school. On a brighter side, they have engaging mode of teaching via their BALA concept
Other facilities - Parking is a mess. Everyday it is a struggle of 30mins in front of the school in the morning and afternoon. They are least bothered about the pain parents have to go through in the parking area everyday. To make the matter worse, they ask the little kids to manage the parking (instead of hiring 7-8 guards who can help in parking management). Imagine, if something happens to your kid who is doing the parking management and cars, bikes, autos are ramming from all the sides.
Transport - Another problem area for this school. They have hired tens of autos who stuff small kids like grass in their autos. I even saw an autowallah with a small kid sitting in his lap while he was driving to school. Ideally they have should have school buses but they perhaps don't want to spend and that is why have hired lot of autos and e-rickshaws (extremely risky). But if the parents are not bothered about their kids safety, why would the school be?
Technology - During the lockdown, the school used free google meeting for conducting a 20mins class. When all the schools bought software like Zoom etc. to teach, they managed with Google Meeting for online classes which is not at all recommended for online teaching.
