St George's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School

It is on the Poonamallee High Road and very vast area of21 Acres land they can be proud of in the centre of the Chennai. One of the oldest Schools in INDIA It celebrated 300 years celebration in 2015. Good Education from the dedicated staff.serving more than 1500 students NOW. Most of the book exhibitions and Meetings do happen as it is very easily accessible by Road and Rail.

Nice place to do schooling(just for the sake of one of the oldest schools in Chennai). Teachers were nice when I did my schooling. Knowing not what is the exact situation now. School has to improve lot in many aspects

Loved the book fair here happening every year In January month. A huge space available for 700 stalls with lots of books from different genre

This might be one of the oldest schools in the country but it is being run in a really terrible way today. The grounds of the school are rented out almost everyday to anyone willing to pay. The amount of noise, traffic and garbage generated is unbelievable. A really sad testament to what happens when corrupt people run educational institutions. A part of our city's living history is being rented out to the highest bidder week after week. A real shame.

No doubt this school good in academic but need to improve in sports and it's facility in hockey and also should start basketball and badminton...we miss the karisma of Jason sir.. we need sports person like him

The place is hired for functions on weekends and the sound decibel produced by the speakers or very very high and causes serious discomfort to residents surrounding this school
