St. Patrick Matriculation Higher Secondary School- Elementary School

I could give negative stars if possible. I completed 12th in 2014 in this school. Used to be the best school in pondicherry. when I give this review i feel sad to say all this all this. Till 10th standard this school has great standard. But ever since Regis fell the school fell too. All competent and good staff were sent out of the school. Now from what I am hearing about the school It saddens me even more. Mark making machines are produced here. Incompetent staffs for 11 and 12 th standard. Dont fall for the primary glory of the school. It was a great school once but not now. If boy try petit and if girl try cluny or some other school. They will destroy students individuality. Another Amalorpavam in the making. hmmpf.

The school is more orthodox in their approach even after so many years, felt like a jail when I visited the school after so many years. The security incharge and staff were not polite and their behaviour was rude. I wanted to meet the principal but was sent back almost 9 times. I took prior time but still could not meet the principal and they said they would call back and never did so. I think this behaviour is not acceptable atleast as an ex student. This would not have happened if Mr. Regis was there. I spoke to a few parents as well who gave their honest feedback. Sometime it is always better to take feedback and improve , wish the management has time for that.

Studied way back in '96 - '99. They ran it like a factory to produce state toppers. Children were mere raw materials to be beaten. They would divide classes into 'bright' and 'dull' sections. Their supposed 'bright kids' have become nothings in life while their supposedly 'dull' kids have succeeded. I wish I never went there; my mom had a false impression that this would be a good school. I got beaten and slapped a lot just for being a happy kid.
After quitting this school, I went to an ICSE board school in North India and ended up in the school's top 5 in Std X's board exams; and everyone knows how much tougher ICSE is when compared to the lame TN state board. I was a Std XII topper as well. Most importantly, I am leading a happy life today with no regrets...except for those hellish years spent at St.Patrick's.
If I had continued at St.Patrick's, I wouldn't have achieved as much since they had classified me as a dull kid and more so because I had actually believed in their assessment of me!

Those who have gave an bad impression about my school to others are totally losers.
The standard of education was very nice and teachers are also responsible and take care of the students. I am also studing in this school , and it's better than other. As others say that they are preassuring students to study is totally an lie.

I studied in this hell for 2 years, 6th and 7th grade during 2000-2002. I still suffer from the trauma of being ill treated, beaten mercilessly and what not! Worst fellow was Prithivi Rayer. He was my History/PT teacher. He is the best among all the torturers of this so called best school. Dr Regis, the Prinicpal was worshipped as if he was some god. The worst school, a parent can ever imagine. If you are a parent, I beg you please do not send them to this school unless they have changed their ways.
