I m in support of Amit Kumar's review... We generally go this skl with a view to playing volleyball nd different games ... Most teachers are irresponsible... They don't complete the syllabus completely... Nd think 2-4 times before joining it😁😁

Terrible school with too much emphasis on extra co curricular activities, teachers here are not able to complete the syllabus at time and are often neglectful towards the questions of the students and the overall academic aspect of them so if you have big ambitions for your life then taking admission here would be the worst thing you can do to it

It is a school managed by autonomous body Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the aegis of Ministry of Education (earlier MHRD),Govt. of India. People have so many misconceptions about this school.
Let me quash them one by one.
1.The school wastes time on CCA-No, I have worked 16 years in Govt schools and more or less government programmes and observance days are observed everywhere particularly after communication of circulars and data collection have become easier after cheap data availability. All that matters is the importance of CCA in one's career.Your talent is tested in written exams but your job is secured after you face an interview/viva voce.Ask me what it not does !! Your speaking, expression, hobby , interests are tested. The latest trend is that If you know dancing they would like to know how much you can paint. CCA is never a wastage of time rather an edge to your talent.
2.Teachers do not complete syllabus on time.
It is a universal phenomenon when the available instruction time is decreasing and depth of concepts are increasing and if it is expected from the teacher to complete it in 6 months (by November) then maybe syllabi need modifications ,not the teachers dedication.Classroom discipline and completion of home work help syllabus move swiftly but that is sometimes not under the teachers control.
3.This school has bad discipline-
Not at all. This is the most disciplined school in the town, save the fact that some undisciplined students take time to induct the values and culture of the school. They engage in vandalization and can't tolerate power failure or water shortage if ever occurs thinking that they are paying for it.But they pay for it !!! No school ensures A/C and Diesel generator (edit: MCL has donated a Diesel Generator set lately with 12 KvA capacity, it is used during exam and other important office work). With Rs600 to 1000 fees monthly, that too with
partial or complete fee exemption from almost 50% students and the school share from it is VVN only with no direct power of spending by the administrator it is unwise to compare it with non-govt schools who have unlimited autonomy.
4.Teachers are engaged in private tuition: It is against the KVS codes. No regular teacher is doing private tuition nor they recommend private tuitions which is just an extra burden on students lifestyle. (It is an addiction which spoils self-learning skills). Ad-hoc teachers are not bound by any rule to refrain from private tuition. However, they cannot ask or compel anyone to join their tuition nor can they discriminate on the basis of it. All the faculty members are so nice that they cannot think of doing so.(Records prove that private tuitions have done little good to students).
Rest things depend upon public perception which can be managed by rumour rife and false certifications. Defaming is easier when one has vile interest.
