HOME MISSION SCHOOL was established in 1985 and it is managed by the Private Unaided Management. It is located in urban area . It is located in VENGHLUI block of AIZAWL district of MIZORAM. The school consists of Grades from 1 to 8. The school is co-educational and it has an attached pre-primary section. It has got 4 teachers for pre-primary section. The school is non-residential in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. During the previous academic year; the school functioned for 205 days. Some of the brightest and most experience teachers in Aizawl work here. Which is evident as at least one of the students there always get on the top 10 in Mbse Board examinations every year and most of the time multiple students get on the top 10 from the arts department alone.
The building consists of three floors. Two floors for class 11 students and 1 at the top for cl 12 students, in cl 11 the boys and girls room are separated. The first floor is where you'll find the Class 11(A) room as well as the teacher's office, the lower floor is where you'll find Class 11(B) room. And the upper floor just above the first floor is where you'll find the Class 12 room.
There are 4 bathrooms here for each class as well as 24/7 water supply as well. There are also fans to keep the temperature down as it can get hot and the windows are usually opened during class to get the natural light and the wind inside the classroom. On Monday's the students are required to wear their school t-shirts and are escorted on the afternoon to the High Field nearby to play games and have fresh air.
