Harcourt Butler Senior Secondary School

Studied at Butler from 1946, and graduated from the school in 1954. Had great teachers throughout — School Principal: Mr. S. Lall, M.A., T.Dip (London). Class mates at all levels were always friendly and supportively each other. Have not visited Butler School since I went to USA in 1959 for MBA studies and worked at the World Bank for many years.

The reviews here suggest that Butler School is still maintaing its excellent traditions.

Harcourt butler sr.sec.school and Sports academy . school situated in VIP area of the Capital Mandir Marg . Historical place build in 1963 .
Now run by Delhi sarkaar. Very big place and land area good managed by government of NCT. But now school building must modernized by aducation department of Delhi. Building is very old. Though the school has emple space for new construction and can beat private schools in any manner.
The Cricket ground is well maintained and source to generate revenue for wellness of students and Sports.

One of the best schools in Delhi. All the teachers were of very high character and qualified in their field. I am proud to be a student of Butler school. We had fun during our schooling years.

I visited on 30 July 2021 because my AILET UG exam is held there this school is one of the oldest schools in the national capital due to the oldness of the school the infrastructure is very bad in exam halls students do not seat comfortably when I give my exam raining is going on rainy drizzles coming from broken windows due to which I do not write my exam perfectly Government should take appropriate steps for renovating this school. Because this school coming under the government of NCT Delhi and notably the school also coming under the Delhi chief minister's constituency,
After all the worst experiences ever because of this, I rate five out of 1 star.

4th class Infrastructure. there are only 2 fans in each classrooms and the height is also big so students may suffer when the day is hot and we know summer of delhi .
