The location of the school is near Sabour, which is quite a distance for students from Western​ part of Bhagalpur.

Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur, is an English Medium coed school, established and conducted by the T.O.R Franciscans. The heavenly patron of the school is St. Francis of Assisi. It is governed by the Gokhla Franciscan Society which is a Religious and Charitable Organization registered under the Societies Registration Act. 1860.

The T.O.R. Franciscans run several Schools in India and abroad in which young people belonging to every creed, social class, community & linguistic group are educated through the medium of English and the regional languages. These institutions are part of Catholic Church’s effort to share in the country’s educational understanding. This effort, while particularly responsible to the Christian community, has always been at the service of the whole nation. Thus the primary purpose this institution, recognized as a Christian minority institution of Bihar under article 30 (1) of the Constitution of India, is to educate Christian children, however, non Christian children may also be admitted. The religious beliefs of all students are treated with respect.

Worst school of town. The principal here MC Jose Thekkel seems to have serious mental health issues. He harasses child and their parents for every mistake of child. He doesn't think twice before expelling child and destroying their career. He doesn't have any fear also, I remember once I was being expelled for very small mistake, when I approached legal help, he became very angry and said he doesn't fears anyone and he has many contacts. Anyways I got readmitted because of legal help. Lots of partiality in this school, high tution politics. Hindu culture is actively discouraged in campus. My suggestion is look for alternatives if you want to have good school life.

Good schul but expensive. not afford local peuple with low money. high and med standard living people admission quickly and not other. Schul book change every year. Teacher good english but some poor also. overall good exp and learn.
