One of the oldest schools schools of Andaman and Nicobar. Established in 1948 known as ANGLO VERNACULAR SCHOOL. Presently known as Govt Senior Secondary school, Garacharma. It's a co-education institution and medium of instruction is Hindi and English. It's in ward No. 20 of Port Blair municipal council of south Andaman district of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Well managed and maintained by department of education, Andaman and Nicobar administration.
