Sonajhuri Restaurant (Multi Cuisine)

Beautiful decoration and very good behaviour of the staffs. Price is little bit high but with respect to the food it is negligible. Food is delicious and they serve it much fast. But they didn't have any desert other than ice cream that time but I hope they will sort it out soon. Enjoy.

Wow. Just wow. Superb experience. Awesome quality of food especially buffet breakfast and lunch . So delicious food they made with low oil and with full hygiene.
This is the best in house restaurant i have found in bolpur.
Please maintain your dignity and same quality.
I will definitely recommend to my friends and relatives and I will definitely visit there again.

The best place in shantiniketan for lunch , dinner .... sumptuous food with great quantity.. Two persons can easily share one bowl food , it's that much quantity

Excellent. Ambience is excellent. Food quality is good. Taste is hot and awesome. From soup to soda, we tried different dishes. You may spend an hour with good food and nice light decoration. You may enjoy the vibe of pool also before or after meal..

Nice ambiance, good food. Service is very good and fast. Special recommendation for Home Style Mutton and Posto r Bora.

Very bad service and quite awful food. We visited for lunch, and their fish kalia (a Bengali dish) is just fish in tikka masala gravy with capsicum (photo given). The posto bora was totally uncooked. For a restaurant based in Shantiniketan, such terrible Bengali food is shameful! Very disappointing experience.

The food we not so tempting ....starters tasted good bt main course was🥴 ...nd shakes was also delicious ....bt need to improve their service nd make it fast......overall a good plc to hangout

We went there for lunch. First thing I would mention that this is far from the Sonajhuri Haat or Khoai Haat.

The ambiance good but sometimes l felt like suffocating because it's too closed. This is not a multi-cusine restaurant it only serve Indian and Chinese dishes. Service is slow.

We ordered Chicken Biryani, Basanti Pulav and Chicken Curry.

Basanti Pulav: The taste, fragrance was good. Contains cashew, Kishmich and paneer. But it's was too sweet and it doesn't look like a Basanti Pulav.

Chicken Biryani: It was too much oily, rice was a bit undercooked. It was not fully authentic to Kolkata Style Biryani. Egg was fried, there's a less flavour of ghee, it was spicy. Mostly, the Chicken pieces were too small. They used curry cut chicken pieces not the biryani pieces.

Chicken Curry: The curry tasted good but the chicken was not fresh which is completely not accepted. I asked the waiter but he just said that he will convey to the chef! Completely disappointed.

I'm giving 2star only for the ambiance and hospitality and for that Basanti Pulav.
