Hoshiyarpuri

It is one of the best family restaurants in Haridwar. We ordered Kaaju korma, Paneer Butter Masala, Gobhi Manchurian and Chilli Paneer(gravy). All of those dishes were delicious. Staff is also nice but the service is a bit slow.

Hoshiarpuri restaurant is a comparatively new entry into restaurants community of Haridwar, although the brand Hoshiyarpuri altogether is very old name in food and cuisine in haridwar, the original eatery is in Haridwar main bazar which is quite a crowd catcher, and the food is known for every thing positive over there.
The diversification into a fancy restaurant seems like the best approach to cater crowd from other areas where the old one isn't accessible or feasible.
Though the name is very big in food in the city and obviously people like big names, and overall the restaurant is very good, but from quality and taste point of view there are better restaurants in the Ranipur more and jwalapur area in haridwar.
Plus less to no parking area is a big problem and restaurant doesn't heed to this issue as they are already over crowded with customer waiting lines.

Hoshiarpuri restaurant started in 1937 on the Upper Road near Har ki pauri and over the years established itself as one of the most popular vegetarian restaurants in Hardwar. It opened a fully air-conditioned branch in the commercial hub of Hardwar - Ranipur more (Khanna Nagar) in 2015 with facilities for fine dinning offering an extended range of Menu with the same taste. It is the go to place for tourists and locals alike. It's signature dishes are Honey chilli potato, Dal makhani, Kadahi paneer, Paneer Pasanda, Katthal (Jackfruit) ki subji, & Kheer. It has sitting on the first floor for Parties, which is being renovated and upgraded. Both branches are usually full during dining hours. They do have a pick-up facility. Our family loves the food there and visited the Khanna Nagar (Near Ranipur more) branch recently.

We searched for veg meal and Google Map suggested this name, but at upper road. We asked our driver for Hoshiyarpuri, and he drove us to here. It was pleasant for us as we could get down right in front of this place.
Now let me say something about this place. Food quality is very good. Panir Tika Masala was toooooo delicious, and what to say about Khir..... I just can't stop with one bowl.

Nice place in Haridwar to get tasty and north indian vegetarian food.
Restaurant is nicely located.
In my complete stay of 2 days and 2 nights, i had 3 meals there (1 Dinner, 2 Lunch). Food quality is maintained.
Ambience is good and staff are also very good.
Could have given more ratings however first day the mix veg was spoilt so had complaint on that howevervthe Paneer and dal makhni was good. The sarso ka saag was very good.

The restaurant do not have provisions for car parking so had a bit of trouble each time i went as i travelled Haridwar using my personal car.

The food was delicious 😋, staff n service was good, the prices were also good. Overall, the experience was wonderful, waiting to dine in again

Hoshiyarpuri is definitely one of the most famous and loved restaurants in Haridwar. I would say definitely the good taste and low rates.Its so economical. The ambience however definitely needs a lot of improvement. A good place to grab a piece of your traditional north Indian punjabi and indian continental cuisine which is easy on the pocket and good for your taste buds.
