Lucy’s Cafe is named after Lucy the Rottweiler (see picture below). It’s hard to miss while walking down the river bank.

I went in around 9am but was informed the store would open around 10. Looks like the store hours are listed wrong on google, maybe an error.

I went back in the second time around 10.30. The store was empty and we were met by Lucy the Doggo blocking our way to the store. We ordered a lemon soda, decent drink. Did not get a chance to order the food however.

Place seems perfect to order coffee and sit down with a book. Helps that we can see the river. It’s really peaceful. Great place to unwind and relax.

Do check it out !

If you are searching for a Place which can provide you Peace and Yummy Food both at the same time, the place @lucyscafevns is the Best for you.
Food~
We tried their Sandwiches and Maggie there.
Sandwiches were good in taste, though their Quantity was less as compared to the price charged over it.The quantity of Maggie was good comparatively.
Ambience and Service~
Based at the banks of Ganga River,Pandeyghat this place will provide you best of the Ganges Views.
Service was fast and the Staffs were cooperative there.
Do visit them whenever you will be trooping over the Ghats next time!

A good one. I didn't enjoy my food because of puppies. Puppies are so cute but if you don't feed them enough they will come and distrub the customers. Please give some separate space for puppies, not where customers sit.

But anyways, lemon juice and fruits salad were good.

Recommend!

Right on the ghats, you'll need to ascend some iffy steps to reach this place – watch your head too, and don't step on the tail of the ROTTWEILER that might be laying across the doorway into the cafe.

Pets+hygiene aside, the little cafe looked quite nice with it's low tables – made from rowing boats, cut in half & then topped with a glass cover, certainly different. I ordered a coke & a coffee (Rs75 & Rs35). The coffee was made from one of those Cafe Coffee Day machines, so I new that would taste nice and it was reasonably priced, kind of. The cup was pretty tiny, The coke cup too.. A jug of water was also brought, but I declined (water from where exactly, a tap? Surely not poured from packaged water at no cost to me? Sorry, I couldn't risk it.). The place was empty but then April isn't tourist season.

I didn't try any food, might be worth a revisit..
