Dastarkhwan Lalbagh

One of the best places to have Awadhi non-veg food, when in Lucknow.
We have ordered a kebab platter and mutton biryani. The kebab platter had a total of 3 types of kebab and each two shami kebab, seekh kebab and galauti kebab.
The kebabs were too delicious and mouth-melting and served along with mutton boti.
I found mutton biryani somehow flat in taste and it was not as masaledar as expected.
Overall, it was a good dining experience over here. The ambience is very nawabi and the service was quick.

It's really good for non vegetarians. I went there and had handi paneer with tandoori roti and veg biryani. I didn't find anything special about Handi Paneer, but the biryani was enjoyable. Do try their desserts, kheer and shahi tukda were really good.

Not so amazing as all the hype around it.
Their Biryani was amazing (much more tastier than their competitors) but the kebabs from their competitors were tastier (Dastarkhwan is good but not amazing).
It is also a bit expensive with respect to other restaurants in Lucknow, but you will get value for money.

When in Lucknow, Dastarkhwan is a must. They have the delicious and inviting menu with many options. I tried the kebab platter and mutton handi biriyani. Both were terrific, in quantity as well as quality.

you should taste it once when u come to lucknow for tundey kebabs, The preparation is very good , the vibes are good , and the food is awesome , You should try kebabs , chiken kali mirch and roated chiken and last but not least mutton biryani

Eat here is you have a huge heart and stomach. Food is good. A bit too heavy for my taste but worth it.

Excellent food! We tried the Mutton Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tandoori Platter and Mutton Biryani. The meat was juicy and well marinated, tender and cooked to perfection.
The biryani was a delicate flavour that allowed the mutton to shine served with delicious spiced curd.

While the food was delicious and warrants a 5 star rating, the toilets are very dirty and unhygienic. Very unappetising. Would be good if the management can look into it.

Decent taste. Kebab was very soft. recommended restaurant for the traditional foods of Lucknow.
