The Yellow Chilli

First things first, the entrance is a little difficult to locate. And then, I really, really wanted to give 4 stars to The Yellow Chilli, if not for the non-grilled paneer in paneer tikka lababdaar and for the slight rawness of naan (although it was visibly baked very properly) .

Sanjeev Kapoor's grinning photograph on the menu card amps the gustatory anticipation and softens the blow of the somewhat high prices of the items listed on the menu. The menu is not vast and, clearly, limited in terms of non-vegetarian food.

Paneer tikka lababdaar, modification of the well-known paneer tikka, as a main course item sounded intriguing enough to force me to try it. The preparation was just a tad bit high on oil and spices, and certainly disappointing in that the paneer was not grilled or smoked. The naan looked really well-baked but felt a little raw in the mouth.

Overall, a good experience with great potential for turning into a fine dining experience in the future.

This restaurant is right in front of Mata Baglamukhi Temple.
1). Food was not up to the mark, can be more good in spices and ingredients.
2). Prices are little high comparing to food.
3). Aura of restaurant is very nice and interior is very beautiful.
4). Staff is good.
5). When I went there was only one poor guy taking order, cleaning tables and serving the order. I guess more staff is required.
6). Washrooms are good.

The food was good in taste we tasted both Indian and Chinese the service was delayed which I felt that the waiters were focusing on large groups than that of 1or 2 guests... Over all do visit the ambience is nice the food is good the bill comes around 1500/- for 2 persons so not so pocket friendly.
