One of finest restaurant in chennai, which is well known for its ambience, taste and service. Their service is too good and staffs were humble. Taste wise it’s delicious except white sauce pasta is normal. One of the romantic spots to go on a date with our Loved once. The orange chicken is one of the must try starter.

Went for brunch and had a French onion chicken soup and orange chicken. Both the items tasted very average and not good as seen over the reviews.
Staffs were welcoming.
Service was very very slow.
Paid through zomato Pro with a discount of 15%.
All types of payments are accepted.
Parking is available on the main road.

The air conditioning was not working last Sunday afternoon and it was really uncomfortable to dine in with the sun scorching outside. There was no music and it was really noisy. The food was good, but there was only brownie with icecream in the entire dessert menu which was a bummer. The waiters come to you only if you ask them (they don’t even bring glasses of water, we had to ask)
It would be nice if they could work more on providing customers a pleasant experience.

We went before the closing time at 2:45 something and we had work to do so we stayed there till 4. No one disturbed us and the place was peaceful. The ambience was cozy and peaceful. The food was good. The quantity of the food was filling. The starters came quick. But the sandwich came a tad late. We were not super hungry. So it was fine for us. The service was pretty good.

Casual cafe which serves some superb finger food with a Very Wide variety. This place is usually fully packed and they never take reservations. Be there around 7pm for tables. The food never disappoints, service needs improvement as the waiters juggle to attend the clients and most times miss taking orders. The food taste compensates these negatives. We have been there Multiple times and we were never disappointed. Dimsum, calamari , nasi goreng is our favourite.

Definitely recommend the Asian Noodles Bowl, Orange Chicken, Chicken Satay & Jalapeno Cheese Balls. Khow Suey Chicken was the star if our dinner. The interiors are well lit and the ambience is super fine.

My verdict :
Ambience and decor :4
Food :4
Value for money :4
Service :4

Pretty small place located in one of the posh parts of the city. It's not too difficult to find but a few signs to show that the restaurant is on the first floor might help customers not go into the furniture shop on the ground floor.

The atmosphere is pretty sleek. Not insta-worthy interiors but they are pleasant to look at and felt serene.

The customer service was appalling. We had to wait for almost 10 minutes for the person to get off his cellphone and take the order.

The crystal chicken dimsums were good and so was the orange chicken starter. We had ordered nasi gurang and moon fan fried rice for the mains unknowingly that they're both going to be similar. The server didn't suggest that it would be the same either. He just blindly took the order and left us to be surprised when the food arrived.

The taste was alright but we'd have loved to taste something else had we known both the dishes would be the same.

The Americano tasted really good and the cucumbers ginger juice was nice too.

We had tiramisu for desserts and it didn't taste as good as how tiramisu originally is. The biscuit didn't have any coffee flavour in it and the cocoa dust on the tiramisu didn't even cover the whole jar. May be it was tweaked for Mayflower but the name didn't have any indication of it. It unfortunately gave me a bad acid reflux too. So, my recommendation would be to skip it if possible.

The whole experience felt a bit pricey for the quality, flavour and the hospitality.

The cafe is located in Poes garden. The place is great for group get togethers. The place is pretty crowded on weekends so I suggest you people visit this place on weekdays. The place occupies around 70 people. The portions and the taste of the food was great here. We ordered Korean fried chicken, Chicken khowsuey,Thai red curry Cranberry fizz and Blueberry fizz. The korean fried chicken was amazing and it tasted spicy with a hint of tanginess and sweetness with a saucy consistency. Chicken khowsuey was yumm but we couldn't finish it as the portion was huge. Thai red curry was aromatic with a coconut milk based curry with chicken pieces. It was served with Jasmine rice. I have nothing to complain about the Cranberry and Blueberry fizz. The place is serene and you can visit on weekdays to avoid the chaotic crowd, sit back and relax. Happy eating :)
