Toda Cafe

Went to the cafe for dinner and loved the location. I plan on staying there the next time. The location affords a beautiful view of the city and if weather permits you can sit out in the balcony. You get a decent view from inside the restaurant as well.

You can opt for buffet or à la carte. I chose buffet (veg). Good food and a decent spread but a little short of outstanding. The service though was impressive. They have a bar as well.

We ordered a veg grilled sandwich which costed us 335 RS. And it had merely a piece of cucumber and tomato, and when we asked for an exchange of our order they refused. Worst staff and worst hospitality.

It is located in the hotel Gem Park. Has a great menu spread. Awesome view from the hotel.you can enjoy the hotel garden alongside the cafe. Bit on the expensive side but worth it. It was a cloudy when we went but still it felt awesome

Good food. Great view. You may opt for their breakfast buffet for 650. Courteous staff. Spacious enough.

This cafe is located in the Gem park hotel, Ooty. Actually it's a restuarant more than a cafe I would say. It got a great view of the Ooty city from this place .

Good enough to accommodate more than 50+ people at a time. Buffet and alcarte are available.

Not so good! We drove up to the hotel for breakfast, after reading some positive reviews. The staffers at the parking area warmly welcomed us and directed us to the fifth floor of the hotel where the "cafe" is located. We asked for à la carte and the captain directed us to an empty table. As we were settling down, he came in and informed us that he had checked with the chef and à la carte was not available - a standard business trick. We reluctantly went for the buffet. Except for the omelette, there was nothing worth eating for non-vegetarians. The chicken sausage tasted like a piece of rubber. The cut melons were tasteless. Coffee too was disappointing. They have a well maintained garden where you can pose for pictures. From there you can view the beautiful hills also. INR 650 +taxes is too much unless part of it is for the garden and the view!

Was craving for a hot chocolate drink early in morning and this was the only place open! The drink was just ok but the view from the place was really nice! Will came back some time for a stay!
