Positive:
Ambiance is good, taste is good for some perticular dishes, I liked the staff behaviour, inside parking.
Negative:
Not maintained properly, AC was not working, utensils color was not white (looks very old), cost is high (I was ready to pay but the food was not worth to the prices).
I gave 1 star less since vegetarian options were a bit less as compared to non vegetarian.
Today we visited Bombay Brasserie - Adyar for dinner. We had ordered chicken almond soup, Galawati Kebab, banana leaf wrapped grilled fish, roti and chicken kadai. Of these Galawati Kebab & banana leaf wrapped grilled fish was far below the expectation. That too fish was very hard. The highlight was we found HAIR IN ROTI which we’re feeding to kid ( attached photo for reference )and same was reported to Manager and he didn’t have answer for it. On top of it there was huge delay in delivering the ordered food and finally cancelled the pending order. On top it they charge 10% service charge along with GST..The restaurant was not that crowded. Nothing more to describe than nightmare . Management should look into it on priority else end up loosing customer and facing legal issues Do share your experience.
Food variety:- not so many options
Vibe:- As soon as we enter I felt like I came to a cafe in pondy
Very expencive. But worth visiting once for some vibes
Soup was delicious but it's just like the knor chicken soup with added tanduri chicken and chopped almonds in it
Fish was avg but the dios they proveded were great
Biryani was below avg
Tangdi chicken was good one
What I felt bad was that some chicken dishes that I ordered was cooked well & wasn’t fresh. I believe that’s old ones and I kept those dishes aside. Other than that everything was good. Service was good.
The desserts were best compared to main dishes.
Must try: Dessert - Blondie, Chicken Wings
The dishes are quite expensive here. Few veg and non veg items were of similar price tag. The food quality and taste were fantabulous. Worth the price ! They can improve on quantity. Overall - you can experience good Indian taste and some with twist here!
