Mohammed Anifa Biriyani

Taste wise good and best restaurants for nonveg dishes like tandoori honey chicken etc. soup is good, Panner butter masala taste is avg overall good hotel in town.

Mutton biryani is very delicious. Prown biriyani is just good. Both the briyani using same rice and masala.' Anifa special grill' lemon content is high and not perfectly cooked. Most of the items in the menu (desserts) not available in restaurant.

Last week I heard about this shop and went there from hundreds of kms away. We went there at 2.15 pm for our lunch. Surprisingly the shop was flooded with people who were waiting before us. We had waited there standing for about 20 mins sharp then we were allotted the middle row 4th table at 2.35 pm.

We could see the servers were highly busy and we were calling one by one, finally a Hindi guy came and asked for an order. We'd ordered mutton biryani and prawn fry but she said the briyani was over and only egg briyani and kushka are available. He didn't know Tamil or English 😖.

Finally he said the very few items were available and then we'd ordered Mandi briyani and mutton sukka. He took the order and went away. It was 2.45 pm.

We were waiting there for 20 more minutes till 3.05 pm, then I'd called the same Hindi guy and asked why there was no response. Then he asked 'me' where's the mutton sukka. That made me highly frustrated. We were ideally standing and sitting for about 40+ minutes without any response but he replied in a cool manner that *Mandi briyani was also not available* and the top of it was he asked the customer (me) where's the 'mutton sukka'. It took 20 mins for that man to reply to me that mutton briyani, chicken briyani, egg briyani, kuska, Mandi briyani were not available. It was like 'Am I a joke to you?'

I went and spoke to the person who was noticing names for the tables. I had made a complaint to him that I needed to talk to the Manager but he told me that the manager's kid met with some accident so he went out and there was nobody to complain about the situation. Then he arranged mixed fried rice and mutton sukka within a few minutes. We had it and went to the counter with the bill and shared everything that happened there to both the people at the counter, one among them was wearing white shirt and apologized twice.

Posting this here only to take care of these incidents and rectify the mistakes because the good will of the shop is formed only by their staff. The shop owner can't take the responsibility at all the times but the manager and the staff must think well before committing these mistakes.

Actually we went there with a plan of making a vlog about the restaurant but we were extremely disappointed with the service we'd received. We didn't make this poor experience as a video only because to not to spoil the good will of the shop.

Please don't let it happen again for anyone.

This was on a very prominent place, there isn't much parking space it's first come first serve on the sideways of the road. The interiors was good, our kids were given a balloon each, the food was ok, may be we aren't used to this cuisine style. Their signature Anifa Chicken grave was an awesome flop... None of us liked it, but since our travel was long we requested them to pack it. The briyani's raitha was simply extraordinary.

The restaurant is accessible, however parking is tricky. The decor is good. The place is maintained well. The menu offers lots of variety dishes. The dishes are yummy and served hot and without much delay. The service is excellent. The restaurant is definitely a must visit for especially people who love biriyani.

We tried combo pack in theni branch, and the taste was very good n each dish. Especially the bread halwa was awesome 🤤
The staffs also very gentle and serve well.

Didn't know about biriyani.....But the rest tamil foods are below average....,kothu porotta,Chettinad and Ceylon porotta are very poorly flavoured....The biggest scam of their menu was aattukal paya,they have have notice all over the restaurant saying it's their special and the waiter also told that attukal paya is very good please order it....paya doesn't have any mutton flavour or any good flavour, the gravy was thickened with maida or corn flour.... Totally disastrous experience

They charging for delivery for 1km too..No leg chicken pieces in biryani..it taste like tomato rice.not worth for a money
