A good spot to explore seafoods in Thrissur. I tried out kallumakaya and porotta combination which was good in taste. U can also try out prawns, crab etc..

This restaurant will take you 10 years back in time.
Best Gheeroast in town😗.
Ate a heavy brunch for ₹77.

Breakfast items are bad. The pure veg ones. Tried masala dosa and ghee roast. Ghee roast tasted like sada dosa. The packing paper in which the dosas were packed had a unsahikable smell and stickines that imparted a bad flavour. Only the masala filling was good. Overal not so good experience for the price. Mannadiyar next door gives excellent breakfast dishes. A BIG NO FOR DOSAS.

I visited this place on Saturday night, still the place was crowded and you have to wait for a table.
Food was worth the wait,
Beef biryani is great ( not Malabar style) Soft porotta and beef roast+fry was nice.
Price is also affordable.

Parking facility is not available, you may find it difficult to park If you are coming in car.

Friendly staff and quick service. Yummy chicken 65, prawns masala, appam(from aunty next door) , beef fry, mussels, parotta.....pleasant experience

One of the oldest and busiest hotel in the city, it’s mostly busy for the lunch time use to be crowded.
Food is great and there is great variety of sea food options, other options like chicken, beef and biriyanis etc.
It’s worth trying and prices are also reasonable.
It’s located in busy congested street and reaching here and parking a car will be something really difficult to do, may be in the evenings can find a spot somewhere away and nearby from restaurant that’s it.
Catch and auto or by bike will be the best options to reach.
There is enough seating space, lunch times are the busiest.

I recently dined at Arunima Restaurant in Thrissur and overall, had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating and a nice decor. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, I particularly enjoyed the traditional Kerala dishes. The prices were also reasonable. Overall, I would recommend Arunima Restaurant and give it 4 stars.

Went for breakfast and was terribly disappointed. Got there some time around 8. Ordered appam, egg curry and vegetable stew. The appam was cold, as if they just took it out of the refrigerator. When we mentioned they told us that the appam came from outside, got there early and therefore is cold. From my understanding, they should have at least heated it before serving. The egg curry was very sweet. Stew wasn't great either.
