Nice clean place. Decent food. One of the few appam and egg curry places enroute in the morning. Clean washrooms. Nice tea and coffee too. Ample parking. Convenient for travelers in both direction as the U Turns are less than a few hundred meters away.

Consistently very good and improving.. had again stopped recently two times in 30 days.. food is getting even more better.

The place is lovely for dinners!

Malabar restaurant is a good spot for breakfast when traveling from Kerala to Bangalore in the morning they serve authentic kerala non veg food, which is difficult to get on the highway. The food is good and the service is also fast.

They have ample parking facility and amenities like the waiting area, restroom, hand wash area etc are super clean.

Highly recommended place.

Good restaurant for dinner. Lively, cost effective, good service and almost ample parking. Spent 200-250 per person, on a regular drive non-veg dinner. Easily noticeable from the highway.

Stopped for a quick lunch - ended up having the full veg meals which wasn't very quick! Loved most of the dishes - most of them had a nice homely taste. Also tried one of their fried fishes which was too dry since it seemed to be deep fried.

A good restaurant in Alathur, serving tasty food, and is economical too. The porotta is very big and it's better to order one first, and the next one later. The service is good and the ambience is great. It is an ideal spot for travellers. There are small chairs available for kids.

Parking and ambiance is good, it’s located Coimbatore to Cochin High way. Average Food, Taste is okay it’s not meet our expectations. Price are higher side.
