Would say it is only okay. I could compare it with the Arabic cuisines you get in Middle East and rate it just average or could just rate it average by the taste, not even comparing it to anything.
The ambience is a 3/5. I can see they are extending as well. The rice had not much flavour in it. You cannot eat the rice as it is, which is not how it should be. The meat wasn’t that tender, or so I felt. I had ordered both mutton and chicken. Mutton tasted average. Chicken could have been tender. The meat felt a bit overcooked. Service provided could be improved. A rush or huge crowd shouldn’t be an excuse for a restaurant that is built for it. Their prices are like any other good Arabic cuisine places, maybe a little more for certain items.
They say they are on a trial run. If they could better their services, I can see myself visiting again. But if not, this wouldn’t be in my first 10 choices while I’m in kollam.

Qahwa is one of the best Restaurant in Kollam specialised in authentic Arabic &Malabar Cuisines.
Great dining spot for Arabic dishes..
Loved the Ambience inside... will get a good Arabic feel while entering the premises of this Restaurant.

Firstly,I really want to appreciate the architecture and interior of Qahwa.They were successful in creating an ambience for a calming and soothing environment.But It stops there.The food they deliver is not even upto notch.I ordered Chicken mandi,Beef mandi and Honey Chilli.The big chunks of beef wasn't cooked properly.Honey chilli wasn't coated with proper proportion of honey or chilli,it was just plain bland.Out of the three,the better one was chicken mandi.
Atleast when they put up such a big venture,they have to make they provide atleast good washroom.Washroom was delapidated and stinky.Even the water in wahroom was foul tasting and hard.Overall I was very disappointed in Qahwa and this time they clearly proved 'Outer appearance is deceptive'.

One of the best looking restaurants in Kollam. The food is delicious too. The chef has great knowledge about Turkish and Persian food. The interior design is one of the best! Customer service is nice and satisfying. For the quality, taste and ambience it offers, the price of food is totally worth it. Good parking space also. Food- 5/5, Service- 4/5, Ambiance - 5/5, Over all- 4.5/5

A very decent place for some of the best Arabic cuisine you could get in Kerala. I was thoroughly impressed by the flavours and the presentation. We had a good time dining there and we ate a lot. Loved the platter which had a good quantity of meat and the quality was also good.

For anyone seeking a top-notch Middle Eastern dining experience with excellent ambiance, I strongly suggest visiting Qahwa. The restaurant has an appealing interior and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was good and the Turkish pide and Arabic platter stood out. Overall a great experience
