Shree Guruprasad UDUPI HOTEL ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಉಡುಪಿ ಹೋಟೆಲ್

This restaurant is very close to Sringeri Muth. Delicious food is served in the Muth but one must visit hotel Guruprasad to experience heavenly taste of Shira! It is the best I have ever had outside my home. Other items are good too. The service quick and place is neat and clean. Must go when you are at Sringeri.

This place is very near to Sringeri main temple, quantity and quality is above average, ambience is average, cleanliness needs to be improved, parota is ready made roasted not hand made so normal and for extra curry you must bear extra money, chapathis is also maida average in taste, price is ok for given taste and quantity, no parking here only walking is the way to reach, overall experience can try with minimal expectations..

Cons.
1. Poor hygiene and cleanliness.
2. Very poorly arranged seating.
3. Highly unorganized.
4. Horribly managed as well.
5. Taste is simply pathetic. I cannot call it
tasteless. ( It's a big big NO
to this hotel ).
6. Pricing is high for the quality of service
and the food they provide.
7. Do not get mired by its close
by location proximity.

I wish had an option to give a big ZERO.

Pros.
1. Close to temple.

Excellent tasty food. We had all types of dosa, Mangalore bhajji and none disappointed. The manager convinced us to have and we realised it was a good decision

Had set dosa, onion uthappa, masala dosa, everything was superb. Satisfactory dinner

Most pathetic place for breakfast in Sringeri.

Zero star for ambience, quality of food and service

DON'T GO. Waste of money. The cook needs salary increment and holidays to visit other restaurants to taste and update himself.

Wish I could give a 0 or negative rating.
Staff is inattentive, very rude owner.
Went for morning breakfast and had one of the worst experience. Staff was rude when tried to complain it to owner he was more arrogant than the staff.
Suggest never ever visit this place.
There are many hotels nearby please do try them.
