We stopped my to have lunch on our enroute to Goa.
The food was nice and tasty . Due to our timing the biryani rice got over so we were not able to get the biryani in the usually prepared way. The fried rice was good. Roti and curry were fine.
EXPERIENCE
it was very hot outside ,around 38 degrees.
The lands are mostly void of any vegetation but we were lucky to find many small huts which finally turned out to be a dhaba.
1.Neat and clean place.
2.one hut can dine 6-8 people
3.huts are cool and are fit with a ceiling fan.
4.privacy inside the hut is maintained with a curtain at the entrance.
5.very hospitable service, all the staff are really good.
6.the moment onions and lemons arrived we could sense by the presentation that they had a great cook
7.both veg and non veg are available.
8.short eats like finger chips and egg pakoda were good and hot.
9.kerala parota was hot, soft and supple ,easily chewable and relishable
10.kaju paneer was fresh, paneer was as soft as a baby's cheek :-) and well seasoned with cardmum, jeera, garlic, elaichi, corrianders.
10.mix veg curry contained around 5 vegetables -beans ,peas, carrot, palak, capsicum.
11.jeera rice was less oily, well cooked and served piping hot directly from the chef's kadai.
12.curds was fresh and cool with no sour taste.
We finally had a chilled pepsi to beat the heat.
We were astonished looking at the bill.It was very reasonable.
Average- 200rs per person.
We were correct. They have a cook from Delhi -jagu bhai who cooks amazing and is truly an asset to them.
Having a dhaba of such standards in this place is quite surprising.
