Very busy place, parking will be an issue sometime.

Pandhi curry is very much recommended.
You will get authentic coorg style meal.

Tari payasa and lichi pudding is recommended.

If you want to try coorg cuisine then only come here, regular food you can get anywhere.

Staff is very good, service is also good.

They serve authentic local dishes. We ordered egg coconut curry, bamboo shoot fry, rice noodles puttu, rice dumplings, and buttermilk. Everything was good. Curry was spicy and tasty. This place is mostly crowded during meal times, so we visited during off timings (around 3 pm), so we need not have to wait.

the very best place for local cuisine. it is a very busy place always. during tourist season there will be long wait to enter the hotel. parking will be problem most of the times. they have delicious pork items. pork, chicken, mutton are the main items. they have manu varieties of local special food available like pork with bamboo shooters. their pork items are must try.

We got this recommendation from many blogs and it was damn good! Has a nice rustic look and feel like the parsi joints of South Bombay. Ample parking down. Hosts are really courteous. Food and deserts are superb. Pricing is good. Just the waiting time but then they’ve setup chairs outside for comfort.

Had a wonderful experience of dining at this place. They had mouthwatering dishes, especially their pork dishes were top notch. The desserts like kheer & payasa were too good. Recommended by most of the locals as well, the restaurant was quite crowded and we had to wait for around 45 mins to get a table. The wait was worth it. Service was good and it's better to take a look at the menu during wait time and order everything needed, all at once, to help them service effectively since they have limited manpower. Overall, a great visit and a must try spot!

Located opposite to post office on Stuart Hill at Madikeri, this restaurant is renowned for the authentic Kodava cuisine preparations. Ambience is pretty basic and decent. Staffs are courteous and professional. We had their famous Akki roti, Pandhi curry(pork curry) , coconut pudding and lichi pudding. All the dishes were blockbusters. I’ll forever relish the amazing taste of the puddings and the curry. Overall verdict- must recommended.

Best place for non veg and pork, place gets crowded after 8pm and you have to wait for a table. Must try pork chops, passion fruit juice, and litchee pudding. Small portions but tasty. Service is good but due to the crowd you may take time to be attended. Crowded with young crowd in the area. Parking available easily in the evenings

The food, atmosphere, and ambience was beautiful. The place had an elegant old school charm, surpassed only by the authenticity and taste of the food. The Mutton Curry and the Lichi Pudding is one to die for. We ordered 7 plates of that pudding!
