Kalyan Restaurant

One of the oldest restaurent of Bodhgaya which is shifted infront of Sanskrit Mahavidalaya is good to taste nice north indian,south indian and chinese dishes.

the food was nice and the location of restaurant is good. but the service was not as expected.

Very nice dinner her. The refill Thali was great. We also had eggplant that was made with red onions and was quite tasty. I don't know why people complained this was expensive, it is not at all for antown with so many pilgrims and tourists. We paid 270 RS for a huge meal with drinks.

Note: this is the same place as "Bowl of compassion". But they didn't mention any of this to us, we had intended to pay extra for the NGO, but didn't realize it didn't happen until after leaving. This makes me think the project may not be so active anymore.

Lootera Restaurant. Never go to them.
They sell all other items in normal rates but they sell thin and small sized butter rotis in the name of butter parathas at ₹20 per piece.
Extremely Unreasonable roti pricing.

We had our lunch hear when we were on the way to Bodhi Temple, it was located near Bodhi Temple Auto stand. We ordered full meals. There was rice with dal, alu & brinjal curry with curd. The taste was not that great. They had extensive menu of dishes from Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisine. They also have Kwality Walls ice creams.

Very slow service because only one waiter to serve. Food quality was average but quantity is not good. Rs200 thali was too bad. Only chicken rice, roti, daal, salad and curd. Very bad experience, so will suggest not to visit this. Rest your wish.
