Barak Valley Express - The Train Restaurant

As of puja time they have fixed menu.... Food is really tasty... Loved their behaviour also... Nice place click photos😇

I ordered Butter Naan and Chicken sultana. Food is too tasty. Price is not too high quite affordable. I will visit again

Just OK. Can't expect anything super special in Silchar Town.still Food is ok.Waiters were ok not very trained

My first impression and visit to Barak valley restaurant has been one star and nothing more than that.
Firstly, restaurant does not know how to handle the reservation, there is a long queue outside waiting for their turn to come but restaurant has been taking booking on call as well. Logically priority should be given to one’s who have travelled down to the restaurant and waiting for a seat at the table.

Secondly there is even a long wait to place your order. Staff will come to your table after a long wait. And when the order is placed you even have to wait for another hour or more for your food.

Third, the table has train track in the centre, and logistically it’s too small to place all the food container if you are ordering too many items.
Also you can’t use the train track to place any of your food.

Last but not the least, owner of the restaurant or manager who was handling all the booking was not at all courteous to customer. I found him very unprofessional.

I was too excited to visit this place as I have heard about it a lot, but sorry to say very disappointed with the whole process from beginning to end.

Experience is quite legit, as a foodie my first preference goes to the food and the food was very tasty and the portion size was also very nice. Here, we get a large variety of food, simple the MENU is very big. A lot of variety you get on this restaurant. The x-factor of the restaurant is the train 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 , on which all the food item were delivered to each table. Taking about the table, each table has its own uniqueness as each table has it own sation name.But there is only problem ie the light is quite dim.......

Visited this place many times...... The food is amazing.......What i love about this place is that there is no compromise in terms of quality and quantity.....The service is good but can improve.....The train concept is very exciting and exhilarating.......
I am not a huge fan of the ambience......The lights are very dim ....... The menu has a variety of options to choose from..... I also love the presentation and it is budget friendly....

The most important and interesting thing is the name"BARAK VALLEY EXPRESS 🚂"The history of Silchar station is remembered.The atmosphere there is very interesting. I feel a peace , Hospitality and food are excellent. Over all Barak Valley Express is a very fun and peaceful place for me.
