SIR South Indian Restaurant

Loved loved loved this place !! Recently moved to Assam from Kochi, Kerala and was craving for good authentic south Indian food.
Staff is courteous, and food is definitely good. we were three people and ordered three different types of Dosas. Ordered cold coffee as well although it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Very spacious and hygienic. Spotless clean.

We tried allepey boat dosa, idli, vada, cheese dosa and masala dosa, everything was great. Must visit.

I'm someone who is obsessed with South Indian food. Be it the very basic or fancy. I think I almost found the perfect place for my South Indian craving fulfillment. It's almost there in terms of taste yet a long way to go. But in terms sambar I finally found Chennai style sambar. If you want recommendations try the Uttapams, Plain dosa, idli and wadav.
But the show's toppers are the two chutneys they serve.

Very good and clean ambience. The hall is AC cooled. They have South Indian cook, who had made the dishes very delicious. The restaurant have no parking space in front and located on a one way traffic road. This restaurant offers wide ranges of Dosas, Idlis, Uththapams, Mumbai style Pav bhaji and ofcourse they offer South Indian thalis. Proper place for South Indian taste.

I enjoyed their newly introduced cheese Momos and Gol gappa. Their ambience is really aesthetic with pleasent music.

For the south india food lovers, its a treat. Be it the RAWA MASALA DOSA/MEDU VADA or PAW BHAJI, they know just the right amount of masalas to be put in. The sweetness in the SAMBAR is another thing that is much sought after in any SOUTH INDIAN DISHES. The FILTER COFFEE too is fair enough.

However, the service is super slow, the people working on the aisle seem to at time’s ignore when being called. The food arrival time is a little too high. That is something they should work upon.

But, if in TINSUKIA, and you want to eat SOUTH INDIAN, THIS IS “THE” PLACE TO BE.

Nice south Indian restaurant at Tinsukia. We had medi vada, Mysore masala dosa and filter coffee. The food was good and the ambience was also beautiful. The staff were nice.

I love their wide range of dosas,they are so yummy in taste. Mysore masala dosa is my favorite.
