Sangolda Shack Restobar

We chanced upon this shack as we were hungry and there was a huge wait at our original destination across the road. From an absurdly reasonable bar menu,to smiling service to just my kind of music to great food,this is the kind of place I look for while on a vacation. Follows the Goan code of Sussegad

This is an old house turned into a restaurant. We went here as this was the closest option we had, and also as the ratings were good.
Masala papad, Squid butter garlic (only the masala of it), Cafreal grill and Naan (both cheese garlic and butter naan) were good.
Hot and Sour soup was just okay, the same with the chocolate brownie with ice cream.
Chonak Rawa fry, Mushroom Xacuti are somthings we had high expectations on, but turned out to be flop.
When we went there, there were no cocktails, not even mocktails and juice options.
The place is clean and nice, staff are good. It wasn't a great experience here, but definitely not a bad one.

I ordered for a chicken dish and I specifically mentioned: not to make it spicy. However when I tasted it, it was too damn spicy. Overall the atmosphere is good.

We went there for lunch but stayed back for evening tea. Food is awesome and the whole atmosphere had very positive vibes. Met Sebastian, the owner, very charming and down to earth person. It's like we knew him forever. Mast taste... and must see place.

Ordered home delivery using a third party app.

Besides the other Chinese dishes I ordered, the Chicken kathi roll and crispy chicken were really good.

All the portions were more than adequate and food tasty.

Chicken lollipops, unlike most places, was NOT coated in a thick layer of cornstarch to make up for the meat that is removed. The accompanying Schezwan sauce was just perfect.

A hidden gem in Goa and one of the most mesmerizing memories that we have had here! Food is superb and they have a seperate place if you are with a group of friends.
