The Naini Retreat, Nainital

Property is just awesome. Location is very peaceful. Hospitality and staff are one of the best I encountered, really humble, courteous and helping. I feel rooms are a bit small, some of them lack proper ventilation though it doesn't get uncomfortable due to cold weather and parking space is limited though we got valet parking available. Other than this, I got no complaints. Food and service is excellent.

Resort is nearby mall road and has good views. But price is too high and not worth it. Even after paying so much, everything is chargeable. They even charge separately for indoor games. Some items in breakfast are also charged separately even after including breakfast in room rent. Staff is courteous and helpful but there is limited number of staff making the service time very high. The hotel management should look into increasing the number of staff .

The resort is good but very over priced. At this price, you expect a service like Mahindra or Taj but service is quite slow and poor. It looks like it is because of less number of staffs. Even after paying around 9000 per night, many things are chargeable e.g. billiards room. Some items in the breakfast are separately chargeable even if you have included breakfast with your room. The rooms even had spider webs.
pros: it is near to nainital.
They provide a complimentary pickup and drop to mall road from 10-8pm.
The view from resort is good.
cons:
Less number of staffs. so service is slow. only one person managing all the tables at breakfast time.
Room not maintained and cleaned properly.
hidden Charges for inclusions.
Overpriced and not worth it.

We stayed in a garden room. The stay was outstanding, property is very beautiful with mesmerizing views. The staff were so humble and cooperative. Location of this property is very peaceful. Food was delicious. The day to day activities were nice. I would strongly recommend this property.

I must say this property is the answer to everything we seek in a calm holiday.

Visited with family. Had a great time there, staff is very courteous.
Food is delicious and location is great very near to mall road.
Hotel also provide you courtesy car to and fro from mall road between 10 am and 8 pm.
Our room was also upgraded to garden view room and they also arranged a complimentary cake for our anniversary.
Kid friendly hotel and also they arrange for milk and different food for child as per your demand without a slightest of fuss.

it was wonderful experience at hotel. food was very nice. hospitality of the staff was really good. on our pre arrival they gave us room immediately. we don't have to wait for chk in time. really nice management. highly recommend.

Can't be better!
We were with kids, senior citizens & couples.
Everything was great, stay was comfortable, food was delicious, room service was amazing, customer service was up to the mark, lots of activities like drawing competition, tambola, live singing, bonfire etc.
Bell boys, housekeeping team, restaurant team, front desk (esp Nitin) all were super supportive and friendly - very well trained.
The lake view was gorgeous 😇 will definitely recommend this place 👌👍
