Camp Sambhar - Camping Resort at Sambhar Salt Lake near Jaipur

I would have never known how beautiful rajasthan can be if I hadn't been here... The view from the place is mesmerizing whichever direction you look. The tents were spacious and well equipped with basic amenities and also don't let you miss the fun and exhilaration of camping by being over comfy... The place and the hospitality makes you want to stay there forever .. It was like a second home for me far from hustle of job and household chores... The staff was courteous and food was nice too opposite to my general experience with hotel food... Would like to visit again soon

I had a Great experience at Neeraj's resort even if it was off season. The cottage tents are really nice, so is the view on the lake and birds. I'd the chance to spend some time with his daughter. He helped me get a bike to wander around the lake and catch a hitchhike to go back to the city.

Awesome experience of stay in Swiss cottage tents. Hospitality was excellent. My son & daughter enjoyed fullest , specially they enjoyed playing with Jack & Jill. Thank you so much staff & owner for making such a lovely & memorable trip. We have enjoyed the unique experience of toy train trip along the Sambhar lake. Mesmerizing experience of watching Falmingos. We have missed Star gazing experience, next we will not miss it. Over all awesome experience.

Perfect location and picturesque scenery! Rooms are well maintained. Food was delicious. Mr. Neeraj was expert enough to guide us through everything and was just a call away. Serenity and peace is very well preserved in the area. Sky was starlit and fauna was interesting. The calmness was very conspicuous. Staying there was a breath of fresh air!

Sambhar lake

This is one of the handful tourist spots which are still pristine, relatively unexplored, which nothing but adds to the serenity of the place. Noted for bird-watching and star-gazing, this place offered all things we had hoped for - hospitality, ambience, peace. Even just staying in and watching at the night sky above the vast expanse of the salty lake ahead for hours was so satisfying and wholesome. Add to that the occasional sighting of rare endangered birds, we were more than happy. What struck me the most was the efforts that the team puts there just to maintain the local ecosystem. Looking forward to visiting that place again when you can actually watch disc of the Milky Way galaxy.

Excellent experience! I don’t think there’s any place more beautiful or more serene than this place. It is beyond the description in words. The route to this resort is quite adventurous and in the country, which is why the resort helps you reach there safely. The hospitality is great. They take very good care of you, and are extremely polite. The food is extremely tasty, like the one in a good restaurant.

I recently stayed in Camp Sambhar Swiss tent with my friends and it was an amazing experience. The natural beauty of the area and the cosy tent atmosphere were really good. The tent was spacious and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a comfortable bed. The views were stunning and I enjoyed spending time on the outdoor deck and Tower at night. The staff were friendly and always available to help. I highly recommend this for a unique and memorable experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope to come back soon.

Advice for the traveller to Sambhar lake:
Unfortunately, due to rain, Sambhar Lake was muddy, so we were unable to reach the lake. To ensure a successful trip to Sambhar, it's best to check the weather conditions or consult a local source before making any plans. The full moon is the best time if you staying next to the lake overnight, and if its photography I would suggest a New moon time"

What a lovely place for a break from NCR. Short drive just beyond Jaipur. Clean air lovely salt flats of Sambhar lake. Bird watching is a great activity here due to the presence of flamingos, other water birds and raptors.
The camp itself is well planned with well built tents as accommodation. Open field in front makes a great place to sit during your stay. The dining room is well built with an amazing view. The hosts are incredible and work hard at creating a great experience. Do visit it will be fun.
