Place is absolutely a delight as it is one of Rajasthan's premium heritage properties, hitherto it is very malmanaged due to its remote and hidden location. Barely people know about it. Majorly foreigners throng there during the monsoon and the winter seasons.

Place is still under restoration and expansion but definitely needs to get rid of the old grumpy manager and to up its social media game just like its contemporaries in the market!

Made to order food by able staff. Manager Mr. Jain is the epitome of Rajasthani hospitality.

It’s a hidden treasure in a remote village. The food is excellent nothing short than home made food. Food is prepared on demand and it’s really fresh and tasty. All the staff and manager were courteous. The palace is surrounded with mountains and river. Though water level in the river was low in October. Also mind that it in the remote areas we coexist with insects and small animals like monkeys, dogs incl lizards. If someone is faint hearted with lizards, need to give it a second thought. Rooms and toilets are very spacious with lots of space to walk around the property. Also the lawns are very nice. Overall it’s an excellent experience to spend some time in countryside in a palace. Make sure that you have enough company as there is nothing much to do. Views are breathtaking. Their pet dog, Gabbar, was a nice company though.
