Baywatch Beach Resort

Baywatch Beach Resort is not as described and I can't recommend staying here until they make some improvements.

Firstly this is not a resort, it's a house with a couple of prefabs outside as rooms. The walls are very thin, the mattress is two inches thin and the bathroom is very bad. The shower does not work and the floor flooded up when the shower tap was on. We just showered from the tap.

I can't really say it's a sea view, there's a main road outside the house and an enormous overpass spoiling any beach vibes. Also there's quite a lot of litter outside the property. Things like wifi and room service aren't provided like described. Overall it was very dirty.

The only saving grace was the lovely breakfast and the lady who made it, very attentive and friendly. Also very helpful in changing my booking days. AC room was also very comfortable temperature.

I understand that you get what you pay for, but this isn't advertised as a budget accomodation, I have stayed in hotels for the same price with far greater facilities. This place really has potential if some changes are made.

Nice room provided. Very clean. Close to the sea beach. Huge green premises located very close to the beach. Well behaviour of the staff needs recognition. Owner is very careful towards the tourist and guests.

Room was not very neat and we could see mosquitoes and bees in room. Also it's not beach view room.the beach is opposite the resort and we need to cross the road for that. But good point is Owner was very good and helped us in visiting Alleppey. The staff is very good and served us well.

BEWARE—This is a private home, not a resort. There are three or four rooms for guests. The AC was leaking. The TV is tiny. The shower was not working, rusted. Breakfast was OK, and the place is close to the beach. Parking is on site. I would not book this place again.

A decent budget accommodation that could be opted for basis the prevailing price. The positives -
1. The housekeeping staff provided excellent service
2. Hop, skip and jump location If you are looking for city beach access

The downsides for me were:
1. Rooms were a tad shabby
2. The flyover bypass runs right along the beach road and a new flyover bypass is being constructed (Feb 2023) - quite noisy
3. Need to use tuktuks to get to the backwaters and boat boarding points

It was a spacious room, ac working well, bathrooms and room were neat and tidy.
The owner is a true gentleman and I would advise fellow reviewers/readers to be respectable this gentleman(owner). There could be few ups and downs but he would be there addressing it… in our trip we were coming before early check-in(9AM), we called him at 6 AM and he answered in an jiffy, everything with NO-EXTRA COST. So, just be nice! It’s not that difficult

It was a beautiful place, everything was better than what we could ask for. Personally, I would recommend this place

The property has good space and very near to the Beach. However, sorry to say, the Property is not maintained properly. This resort has basically 7-8 Rooms of various category. The basic rooms have been forcefully downgraded eg. Geyser is installed but not connected to Shower/Washbasin, I don't see any logic behind the same.
On booking sites it is showing Air Conditioned, whereas actually it is not. I did'nt find owner at the property however he was available over the phone. He was also cooperative.
There is one old lady, who is taking care of the rooms, she has very polite nature and responds promptly. There is not catering provision, so you would have to arrange the same through swigy or zomato.
Breakfast was provided by the property and it was good.

Good location but poorly maintained. Rooms are like Oyo rooms. you will get a good breakfast that's all , no food service after tat only swiggy or Zomato n that too no good restaurants around.
