Broad bean resort and spa

Very nice ambience. The rooms were excellent and well maintained. But not much activities inside the resort. Common pool is small. Spa is available.
Food quality is satisfactory. Stay includes a complementary breakfast.

The property & its location was beautiful. We enjoyed with property amenities with beautiful landscaping, peddle boating, swimming pool & other sporting activities during the stay. The property staffs also provided professional service & politely responded for any request including morning breakfast service with tasty menu. Overall it is best place to stay & enjoy the holiday in munnar.

I enjoyed my holidays at this resort. It was an excellent experience. The ambience was wonderful. We stayed at the pool villa at the place. The room was spacious and well arranged with all the essentials. And the pool was properly cleaned & maintained. We enjoyed our stay with the resort amenities the elegant property landscaping, sports activities, swimming pool, pond and the prompt room service. The behaviour of staffs were so professional and humble. The food was so excellent.
I will recommend this resort for holiday stay. I will visit again this place. Special thanks to Restaurant Manager Mr. Vipin Joseph.

Very nice hotel and staff who run the hotel. Good big size property from where we clicked many breath taking views.
Veg food was awesome. They have everything. And they won't say no to your demands ( of course in hotel limits).

Broad bean is one of my favorite resorts in Munnar. We had an amazing stay at this special place. The room was so excellent, good services qnd friendly staffs. Especially the Restaurant was so elegant and the view to the pond was calm and cool. The food was very delicious & delightful right from the breakfast, lunch& dinner.
I want to thank Restaurant Manager Mr. Vipin Joseph for all the helps, love & care. I will definitely recommend this resort for stay at the holidays especially I suggest pool villa for honeymoon couple. We will visit again and enjoy the stay here. 😊

The place was a mess! I don't know how this hotel got top rated on travel portals but this was the worst hotel I have stayed at. Let's start with the location. This hotel was hidden on an absurdly desolate road which was rocky. It felt like we were offroading, but not in a good way. And, and the start of road was the steepest slope we had ever had to drive down. Our ETA was 6 hours and we reached in 9, with little to no traffic.
We spent 70k minimum on two hotel rooms not including the Gala dinner which was compulsory to attend. Not the most ideal as it was 10' o clock at night and we had spent 9 hours driving, but we still went. There, the food was cold and soggy and the tables were all dirty with excess food from previous meals. And on that terrible note, we headed to sleep but we couldn't. The pillows had red stains on them and the quilt was dusty and stained. In harmony of that, the paint was stripping and the bathroom sink was broken. Photos of these things are enclosed in photos below.
The next morning we went down for breakfast only to find out that it starts at 8 which was late for our liking. But we waited and ate breakfast, which was unfortunately cold and soggy again. We then went to the front desk and requested for our rooms to be cleaned from when we came back from our tour. They agreed, but when we came back, nothing had been touched. We were obviously angry and requested to have our rooms cleaned.
There is obviously so many more problems with this resort but I am sure all of you are smart enough to know that this hotel is not the best. It didn't exceed our expectations much less meet them. I hope you all make the right choice by not going to this abomination of an hotel. Thank you.

Great lifetime experience in this resort. Enjoyed every moment during our stay here. Room Service at its best. Ambience, Location, Activities inside this resort is top class. Only concern is food price which is too high though its tasty.

The property is reasonably large and is located in a serene neighbourhood. The superior club room's rooms are not overly large or undersized, but they were decent, tidy, and clean. The bathrooms included all the necessary accoutrements and were tidy and clean. Morning breakfast was excellent with a reasonable good spread. Evening buffet dinner was also very good and it is worth the money spend. Special applause to the restaurant lads as the team lead by F&B Manager Mr. Joseph was professionally well trained, attentive and friendly. The receptionists are helpful and courteous, and they work diligently.

The resort doesn't receive sufficient maintenance, which would make it much better if it did. That is the only criticism I have. Examples are the extremely limited amenities at the indoor game room, the neglect of the lawn, garden, and landscape, the unclean lake water, the boats that need to be replaced or repaired, the pool's basement, and the poolside lounge chair etc. Of course, I can see that the resort is currently engaged in some maintenance work that might resolve the aforementioned problems. Moreover the resort lacks adequate parking space inside and need to park outside even though security is there which is adjustable. The resort's 1-kilometer approach road is relatively narrow and in poor condition which really needs attention. Taking into account the aforementioned areas for improvement, I am deducting one star from my rating.
