Everything about this property is perfection. The staff is highly trained, so friendly and at every turn goes above and beyond. Kumarakom Heritage resort is gorgeous. The food is delicious, and the spa is incredible. I went with my family, kids absolutely loved the place as it was Packed with plenty of things to do. It would be amazing with family or as an adult getaway. I can’t recommend this place enough!

A great place to spend your weekend. We went with our family members and had booked 3 rooms. The experience was really good. The rooms were neat and pretty well maintained. The food was also very good. All staff behaved very well, especially the restaurant personnel Mr. Joseph who was exceptional in his behaviour and is an asset to the resort. The front officer Manager Mr. Vibin was also very good and helpful. Will definitely visit the place again.

Over all stay was excellent. Here comes the detailed review.
1. Rooms : We were upgraded to a room because of a crowded holiday. But the rooms were good, spacious & neatly maintained neatly. Only hotwater was a problem.
2. Food : The menu was very less But whatever was there it was tasty.
3. Amenities: Only Shuttle and Carrom are available. So not so fun for games. But swimming pool is good. Only these 3 activities can be done. Spa service was not available when we asked.
4. Location : Location was good. you have near by boat houses and Allepy & beaches are 30-40 Kms far.
5. Staff : The best part of the hotel. They are very humble & sweet. They did everything with smiling face. They were ready for anything we ask for within their limits.

Worst maintenance. Room smell was not at all good. Very big room but had only one washroom. No hot water and only few staff's are available. Food is very limited and that too okie.
No kids play area and worst maintenance. Swimming pool is neat. Not recommended for family.

Simply great place! Serenity, peace, pure nature - everything is here. It’s perfect to detox, relax, return back to your inner self. You can enjoy horses, river kayaking, rice fields bicycling. I love it. It helped me to calm down and heal inside. As for materialistic things - it’s perfect as well. Food is tasty, staff is friendly and keen to help, everything is clean and tidy.

Stay at your own risk - No market / shop at radius of 3-4 Km of the resort. - Very slow running water in taps. - Food options inhouse - NIL - Food quality - just gulp to fill stomach. - Room interiors are beautiful - Rooms partitoned with thin wood boards, so if on bed and trying to make Noise, remember next door can even listen your water drinking sound. - Next to nature and gives peace to mind.

Very poor stay.
No maintainence at property spider cobs and mosquitos all over.
Service was horrible.Specially the food service the waiters.
Had to wait for 1 hour 10 mins after ordering food that too recieved very bad food.
The rooms had no privacy. Just a peice of plywood between rooms.All minor sounds clear.
Pool had insects in it all over the whole property was very poorly maintained.
When I told the management the reacted as if asking me to shutup like it is what it is and started talking and laughing amongst each other in malyali.

Paradise in backwaters jungles. Rooms are clean and well equipped, territory is also neat with pool and horses😊 food is delicious and always cheerful staff, that ready to help. On backwaters may observe local's life, many plants, birds and other animals. Activities are also available
