I had a very pleasant 2-night stay at Pallak Resorts. The cottages are spacious, and the setting is overall really beautiful. Photos are of the rice paddy behind the resort, and the view off the patio. The heritage home and garden are charming, green, and really well-maintained. The staff were very attentive and brought me extra towels and sheets as needed, and when there was an issue with an A/C they quickly opened up another room for me. I appreciated how the staff were very flexible in terms of meal timings. In terms of food, I really enjoyed the breakfast they provided, and had a lovely meal of chicken fry and curry. For those visiting the Mallappuram/Kottakal area, I highly recommend Pallak Resorts!

Lush variants of greenery, chyming bamboos, birds chirping. Calm and peaceful surroundings. Friendly staffs, clean rooms. Wifi available, but TV channels not fully functioning.

The best property in kottakkal... very good ambience... close with the nature.. paddy fields. Pond, water channels ... good spqcious rooms.. wonderful hospitality.. delicious food.. highly cost effective..

Good place with calm and green atmosphere. Peaceful atmosphere and good service. No more activities to spend time. Also good for groups and family/business programs..

Great experience, and really feel like home, and ofcourse great service, served homely food which was really tasty and nice ambience and interior, exterior, landscape designs are really pleasant and beautiful,,. We had a great time in pallak, such a traditional ambience space...

The place was advertised as an Ayurvedic resort. However, the "treatment" or massage area has been closed with a view to converting into a food service area. I was given a very basic "ayurvedic massage" (more like an oily rubdown) in a space that was stinking of paint and did not even have a door. I understand the need for renovation. My biggest gripe is that I was not informed about any of this and pressured into paying an advance because the owners were afraid that guests would leave if they saw the condition of the resort. My big warning -- Don't pay an advance. Get there and check out the space thoroughly before moving forward.
