Utlimate location. The resort within itself is a world on its own. Beautiful views. Cottages are spacious and sprawling. Service from staffs deserve much more than appreciations. Jijo Arjun and others ensured that we were comfortable to the extent possible. Hats off to the chef for the wonderful food. The reason I am not mentioning specifics on the views or the look and feel of the resort is so that all should go there and enjoy the same. We were there for nearly 4 days and we dint have any need to step out of the resort. Thanks to the entire team for making this a memorable holiday.

1. Rooms The rooms are a minimum 300 MTS from the car parking we have to walk all the way and terrain is very steep for the elderly it's impossible to walk each time for the room. 2. Service If there is a 0 star i would have given it because there is no room service and there need to be a few more staffs but the staff available are good to you and very hospitable. 3. Food Breakfast buffets have to improve a lot and there needs to be a few more items added for dinner the buffet price is 650 per person which is totally overrated for that price There are very limited items only w dishes for non veg and w dishes for veg.
The location is lovely for natural lovers it's a good place but other than that it's overrated. For honeymoon couples it's suitable for others you can easily find other properties for this price range.

Excellent stay!
Food- breakfast options are plently very well made especially the coconut cake! Lunch and dinner options are few but each dish is very thought out and well made. The pakodas in the evening were so healthy minimum oil. Their juices passion fruit, cucumber are incredibly refreshing!
Rooms- we stayed in lillikoi - serene view, cozy cottage, very cool and comfortable, and clean. Insects do enter but it's a forest resort so that's expected..
View and location- lobby view is so stunning. The location is a little away from meppadi and other towns but that's the case in wayanad. A car is the best way to go around because everything is atleast an hour away. The hotel however helps to arrange transport.
Staff- last but not the least - staff is the most courteous. It's one of the highlights of this hotel. They make the experience wonderful and warm.

After the rains is one of the most overrated resort. We booked for 2 nights for 3 people expecting absolute comfort in our stay. We were told immediately that they don't have room service not even tea and coffee. For everything we have to walk and climb 200-300 m from our room to restaurant and another 150 m to the parking lot. Their excuse is we have kettle, milk powder, tea, coffee bags in the room. The most disgusting thing is the wall between the room and rest room is not completely partitioned leaving a huge open wall at the top. So everytime you flush, all the room occupants can hear the sound no matter how louder the TV volume is. Wifi works only at the restaurant. Our intercom never connected to reception. No campfire on first day and on second day we were not informed. You will get lot of insects and leeches in the room (Thanks to the forest, no mistake of the property). Dinner is not at all worth for 650 rupees.(Tomato soup, phulka with chicken curry, mint rice with Fish Polichathu, sweet) Breakfast is also having very limited food items.
ABSOLUTE NO TO ELDERLY VISITORS AT ALL. STAFFS ARE VERY POLITE BUT VERY MUCH UNDERSTAFFED. KUDOS TO THE 2-3 GUYS WHO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE TABLES IN THE RESTAURANT.

1st star for the great view. 2nd star for the hospitality, all staff members were great and loved their always smiling faces. 3rd star for the overall experience.
Improvement can be done on food menu, the authentic kerala food they served were good but being a resort should have some more options. All the facilities can't be utilized if it is raining, so there should be some facilities for the rainy days as well. All the pathways are very slippery and full of leeches.

Loved the experience. Just a thought though- having bathtubs with such an amazing view is fantastic. However the experience is hampered as it has to be filled using a small water heater/ geyser again and again. Hopefully this can be addressed so I can enjoy this better the next time I visit. The food, the location, the service - loved it all

The property is nestled in the lap of nature and you will get a beautiful view of the forest/mountains even from your bathroom which looks magical. We booked the Lilikoi room which had its washroom separated from the room that can be a hassle when walking in the middle of the night. And the food was below average, we were expecting some local cuisines which wasn't there and they don't take A LA CARTE so we were stuck with the buffet they were serving. There is NO ROOM SERVICE as well so you can't order in your favorite snack and chill. The breakfast closes by 10am and the rooms are far from the restaurant so it'll be like running for your food if you wake up late. We were just for a night as we wanted a relaxing stay after hiking all the previous days but the food and no room service was a major disappointment!!!!

One of the best resorts in Wayanad. We booked rooms in After the Rain to celebrate our wedding Anniversary and the whole plan was for two days. We booked lillycoyi room which are ideal for couples. The room is amazing with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The room is separated from the bathroom by a small corridor. The bathroom also has a huge glass window that gives you the view. Talking about the management, the best thing is the positive and polite behaviour of staff and Manager. The resort manager Mr Rakesh was very supportive and gave us the best experience with the resort. He had rightly guided us with all the requests and this made our experience one of the most memorable. The team also provided us with a special candle light dinner accompanied with a cake after knowing it was our wedding anniversary. Mr Fayas was very helpful with taking us through the property and also we thank him for patiently helping us click our pictures. He is a good photographer too and an excellent guide as he is also from Wayanad. Mr Arjun knows a lot about Wayanad and its history and can give good recommendations for places to visit. Other staff members were also very friendly and polite. The food is a set menu and it's good but the options are limited within the menu set for the day.
