Serenity thy name is Ganges. The place can be managed better. Beautiful views of Ganges. It is dominated by monkeys and stray animals.

Very important historical place of 1857 revolution. Visitors can take holy bath and boat ride. Less crowded place. Worth to visit at evening time when Arati performed.

Significant event of independence struggle took place here. Buildings of 1858 still exists here. A memorial also built. Renovated under Namami Gange mission.

If you are looking for a place to spend some peaceful time then its a must visit.
On reaching the Ghat,
On your right you will find an Akhad and place to book a boat ride

On your front there is an old Shiv temple and place to take the holy dip

On your left there are staircase where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view.

Best time: Around sunrise or sunset

Attaching few pics respectively

Caution: there are many monkeys around

Ghat is also having the historical importance which one must checkout.

Its a beautiful ghat situated at the bank of river Ganga (the most important river for India ajd Hindus).

There is a small context of history also associated to this place.

Comparatively a very clean ghat of Kanpur

Nice place for a Ganges view and river side experience. One can hire a boat for a customized ride on the Ganges...pay anywhere from Rs100 - Rs300 for a peaceful 45mins. There is a small cluster of temples with deities on the ghat.
While the place holds promise as a "go to" site, however, dirt and muck from the local shanties make it a mixed experience.
