Very good place but security staff especially with stars are beastly. They don't allow you to have darshan for even one minute.

Maa kanyakumari temple is one of saktipitha out of 51.the speciality is maa kanyakumari's nose ring,that is diamond.it always reflect light and it looks so amazing.

Devi Kanyakumari is also called as Bhagavati amman here....this is the correct temple
With all honesty I'm saying....this is the best place in all of kanyakumari,...even if u miss everything else don't ever miss this... All the stories regarding Devi Kanyakumari is true...even stories about the shine of nose stud/mookhuti of goddess is true...I examined it .....very powerful goddess ..

Lovely temple, strict security, no photos. As a tourist I gave three stars.
As someone who respects that this is a spiritual place where people practice there faith no disrespect is meant by the three stars just that I have no picture to fondly look back on.

It was said the history that it's been there for quite a long time. Her nose stud used to be a landmark for recognising the shore. Such a memorable and historical place. Finally made it to visit this lovely place.
