Nainital Bus Stand, Tallital

One can easily find many things nearby the bus station: resturant for eating food, police station for enquiries, hotels for staying, public washrooms and how can one forget the exquisite view of Lake which makes this place magical. One must vist this place for attaining the mental peace.

Though the location is prime...just beside Naini Lake, Tallital... Nainital Bus Stand is very small and the buses are very few. Apart from buses for Kathgodam, Bhawali, Haldwani and Delhi...others are microscopic...you have to go either Bhawali or Haldwani for better connectivity.

Nothing can match the beauty of Nainital. A two km lake surrounding by mountains with lush green forests.
Bus stand of Nainital is at the starting from where you get the entire view of Nainital. Earlier it was on the bridge but now the main station has been shifted 100 m lower while some buses still operate from old station.
Even if you are a local you cannot resist to click a photo and admire the town from this point.

Nice place to go and very good services for sitting there. A good view of lake seen from sitting there. All types of foods and beverages are available there for your hungry stomach and also a thrill boat riding is there too.

Things are quite managed now. Much better management then my earlier visits. Every public transport, be it a rickshaw or a battery operated toto, everywhere there is a queue and token system for all such transports which is really good.

Nainital bus stand is located near Naini Lake and is small and croudy area accordingly.
As Nainital is famous tourist spot in Uttrakhand it's bus stand should be well developed with good class facilities.

Roads were broken all around in side bus stand. Buses were seen as of old age. But, drivers drives well in Hill areas.

If you reach here early morning, don't miss out the surreal sunrise. Also, the I love Nainital sign is just outside the bus stand where you can get amazing pics. The bus stand is accessible from major cities like Delhi. When I traveled, we changed into a mini bus en route as i was in sleeper bus and reached Nainital overnight. Again, the sunrise was beautiful.

This bus stand is infront of Nainitaal lake.
It is in center of Mallitaal and talli taal.

When you want between these two , you cross maal road which is full of market, resturant.
