This is a very old (ESTD. 1903) Government Sponsored Public Library at Behala. They very good collection of book. The library have a Children's book collection. Reading room also available in this Library.

This library is one of the oldest library in town. They have a wide range of book collections.

Yesterday i went there and wanted to be a member....they asked me to bring an address proof....I brought but then they said...Govt has issued orders that books cannot be borrowed home...i have to sit there & read...i was surprised...how can u deny issuing books...if u r worried about proper returns then take a caution money....but don't improvise such rules...nowadays no body has time to sit there & study
