Good storage of books, it's Govt aided library

This library was established in 1938, and has a huge collection of books of diverse variety. Having 7732 books in it, the library serves as a pillar of literary culture in this area. It also has 3 manuscripts, which were found from Baharampur. It provides free reading room service, reference srevice, career guidance section, and has a separate journals and newspaper section. With as many as 200 members, this government aided library is a stalwart in its category.
