Should be made more user friendly and comfortable.
Maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure should be considered...

The collection of the books is commendable. The library is very big and spacious on the inside. The staff is always ready to help. It is a good place for a book lover. The place is well kept and the books are taken care of. The cleanliness of this place is maintained on a regular basis.

Lots of books and study material is available here. 3 floor are all filled with books. Very well maintained and properly organised.

Only problem is that there is no provision of AC system. Fans and coolers are kept that will hardly make you comfortable in your studies and concentration.

Fees and charges are very minimal and genuine. Overall a good place for book lovers. Both English and Hindi books are available.

Old library. But it has many type of books. Good for doing research. People of all the ages can come here to read. Infrastructure needs to be improved.

Very old library, well maintained. Treasure for book lovers.

One of the Oldest and biggest public library of Lucknow. Currently working with limited staff and services as the library is going under full transformation. As of now the library was using old issue return process and services was also limited. But currently it is switching to fully automated and RFID enabled library and expanding its services by the support of U. P. Govt. It's good to see how this old heritage is preserved and at the same time serving the needs of the modern users.
The seeting area is enough. I will advice the BLIS and MLIS students to go there volunteer and enhance their practical skills. The library is also providing them certificate also for there contribution. The charges for Annual Membership is Rs. 2250 only, in which Rs. 250 is the annual fee and Rs. 2000 is caution money. The caution money of Rs. 2000 is refunded back when you will surrender your membership card back to library. Every student who loves to read should visit this library one time, especially LIS students.👍
