Kanyakumari district central library, its situated in ozhuginasery, overall above 50,000 books in this library, now it's modernized, reading room block is very superb, smiling staff good atmosphere, special block for upsc and tnpsc studying students, and a special Free weekend class for tnpsc group 1 and 2,4.

Good place to study and prepare for competitive exam.... prepare with your own books some books are avaliable ... study hall is more comfortable...Toilets are not so good.. books are not enough for competitive exam preparation ... need more development...

Really poor maintenance . The reading hall r not at all well maintained. Those rooms r filled with dust and insects. Windows r filled with spider web n animal manures. The bathroom has no proper water supply , even the closets r not at all cleaned for ages. When tried to complain about these issue they will eventually come up with lame excuses like there is no budget , no amount of staffs ...etc. library is a place that r meant to be kept like a temple but here they r keeping like garbage station. Wish they could come up with solution n do the needful for the hardworking students out there.

One of the biggest libraries in kanyakumari district. Its situated on the inside road of nagercoil to tirunelveli road. Here lots of books available. If you are an government job aspirant then go here and study because they will arrange some special books.
