District Central Library, chengalpattu

It has reading section,Notes section plus special preparation zone for tnpsc and other special exams aspirants.
Large collection of books for reading and borrowing.

Closed on Friday and 2nd Saturday. Only chengalpattu/Chennai residents with their ration card or Aadhar card can get library membership. They don't provide membership to others.

I was taking books from this library in my younger days as I was there nearly 25 years

A small library with no space for wheel chair access. The building is large enough to run a primary school. It could have been planned well at the time of conception. The stench of the toilet is so over powering. The library authorities must maintain the toilet in best condition because the smell is so bad and fills the air in all rooms.

everyone should make use of district central library chengalpattu. It's pride we have central library located in chengalpattu. I am proud to be a member... I sincerely wish library to grow , digitalized. thanks.
