Worst library in bbsr. Charging very high price and frequently changing there policies and you can find other libraries with same facilities in lower price. The admission fee is very high and you have to pay extra for other services like wifi, locker and discussion room. They do not address students issue only run after money. The receptionist behaviour is very unprofessional and rude . I suggest everyone to look for other options available in BBSR than AS reading room.

Many photos posted here are fake. AS Library Authorities, stop fooling people and remove it.

Also, the pictures of books are irrelevant since you don't issue books telling it's covid.
Now coming to the experience, I would rate it in negative. They increased the monthly fees from 1400 a month to 1800 a month and lied that it's due to covid and they are charging for sanitation. But the bathroom has not been cleaned ever since. The cabins are not sanitised. The room is hardly broomed even after repeated complains. In the name of sanitation, they spray disinfectant thrice in few places in a whole day in a public place like this.

They had promised to reduce price when they allow 100% occupancy, they decreased it to 1600, they charge 100 for WiFi and 50 for locker = 1750. You get a room in bbsr for 1600.

According to covid rule, there should be a distance of 6 feet between 2 adjacent seats. Here, it's hardly 1. In one room there's provision for 30+ students to sit, the room being closed from everywhere, no ventilation.. in short the same air circulates around the room filled with so many students.

The staff doesn't listen to you, they zoom in the cctv cams fitted in girls room. If you complain several times, despite listening to you they run away from the reception.

they will charge you 100 rupees per day if you have an exam in the middle of a month and you don't want to pay for the whole month.

Price is very high and taking extra charges for wifi, locker which are free in other libraries in BBSR . Also they have increased their registration fees from 100 to 500 rupees which is non-refundable. So better go for other libraries available in BBSR at lower price with same facilities and value your money.

A decent reading room should be equipped with adequate facilities like a comfortable and student friendly environment. But unfortunately, this place has none of those things and it is a disgrace in the name of a reading room. During this pandemic, it is expected that social distancing norms would be followed, however, the seating arrangement here is so crowded, that even coronavirus be like "Am I a joke to you?" Also, they do not provide internet services and charge exorbitantly as if this is where Newton wrote his books on calculus. An utterly disappointing experience and a sureshot waste of time and money!

Today the library's owner's son (as introduced by the abuser himself) misbehaved with a married woman. Intimidated her, hurled abuses at her, insulted her. All because she went to complain about spilled water on the stairs.
When he saw a gathering in the lady's support, he fleed away from the site as quickly as possible. Didn't receive calls, the owner didn't receive calls too and no one took the responsibility of such an unfortunate incident in the library premises.
They target girls and misbehave.
This was a targeted attack. By a non-staff. Just because he is the owner's son, doesn't give him a right to behave like a goon. This is what happens when uneducated and immoral people get investment to run a business concerning studies and students.

Price is very high compared to other libraries in bbsr. Charging around 1800 rs monthly, where as you can find better libraries in bbsr at lower price at around 900-1000 rs per month near crp square.

I am rating AS Library 1 ⭐ because of it's pricing and not solving students queries. As we are students and struggling to get a job, we are here to study and make the most of the day. But if we always going to complaint about the price hike, irregularities when do we concentrate on our study then? So don't try our limits or else your organization will go down to the hell. Resolve our concerns as soon as possible.

1) Reduce the fees.
2) Make WiFi networks free for all.
3) WiFi networks should be available from 7AM to 9PM.

As they took RS. 💯 money this month for WiFi and guaranteed to provide the above mentioned timing. But actually WiFi is accessible from 11PM onwards. I complained so many times but nothing worked out.

So Please do the needful at the earliest. Or else BANG BANG....🔥

I didn't find the stars in negative, otherwise I would've given it -*************...... stars. They are daylight cheats, so please avoid them. No proper facility in the library despite charging a hefty amount. If it rains, be careful while walking the stairs(becomes slippery due to rain water) because they don't care if you live or die, they only need their unusual charges. Lastly, they will leave no stone unturned harassing you even if you leave their library. I had applied for refund 4 months ago, whenever I call them they give lame excuses like it takes 1 month to process the refund, we will look into it and refund within 2-3 days, we don't have your bank details please send via email etc etc. After sending all those details repeatedly via email, same issue continues. Certified frauds, what I have understood is that after a few months many candidates will forget about the refund and they will be benefited.
