Meenatai Thakre Library

Meenatai Thakre Library is run by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. It is open from 7 a.m. to 11 pm. A good & highly appreciating thing about this library is even on holidays library is kept open for aspirants of competitive exams & regular collage going students.

No basic facilities like drinking water, toilet.
Very dirty surrounding. Students play pubG games here. Very noisy sometimes.

Library is good having seating capacity up to 70 students having 2 floors ground floor is little bit of noisy. Above 2 floors are excellent to study in. Entry fee for library is Rs. 50 per month. Library timing is 6am to 1am. Which made this library best to one who need it most.

I have used this facility regularly during 2011 - 2014. It was free of cost then. It was really helpful, only issue was there is no supervisor there who can control noise on ground floor

It's a gift to the students of this area (allowed only for people in Vashi). Appreciate NMMC for this.
