Good collection of kids books. Around 25% of the books are in English and 75% are in Kannada.

Kids library ambiance is good. They have around 20 small chair and 2 tables. Bright attractive cartoon character on walls.

You can keep books for 15 days.

Need 4 photos, id proof and Bangalore address proof for membership. Membership cost rs 202.

This library gives a very good experience at the first sight. Modern amenities like a co working IT company are available and very neat and clean floor and desks. A variety of books are available mostly Kannada. The staff here is very helpful. They are always busy working. I feel blessed that I am a member of this library.

It was good to see that the library was full , lots of students from near by pg's are visiting here for reading. I went there to upskill my IT knowledge but sadly there were less books and i didn't get the books which i was looking for , make sure if you want to use systems make your library ID's to get the access . By 8pm it will get close everyday and on government holidays it will be close , so you come everyday apart from Gov Holidays.

The library is very well maintained.
One can go through magazines, Eglish and Kannada daily news papers, vide variety of books and also a digital library where one can an Indian browse using the desktop available in the library.
One has to pay a membership fee of 200 to carry books home otherwise, it can be used at the premises or else one carry his/her books here.
Lot of students come here to study as the place is very calm.
Own Laptop can also be carried inside the library but there is no facility of the charging points.

Well maintained spacious library with amenities like internet connectivity, drinking water, restrooms, kids library cum playing space. Book collection is diversified and enormous. Around 60% of books can be seen in Kannada language, yet English medium books are adequate enough for reading lovers. Very useful for students preparing for competitive exams as everything is available from newspapers to ncerts to coaching material. Self help books, journals, fiction story books, History books are some bright spots in this library. A must visit place in Bangalore

If your planning to visit for first time and want to take away books for reading , get these along with you for registration:
1 adhar card zerox
2 four passport size photos
3 202 rupees for registration

After successfully registering you can take books for 2 weeks, Delay in returning will cost you 1 rupee fine per day after due date.

Timing
It opens at 8.30 am and closes at 8pm. its closed on all Monday's , second Tuesday, fourth Saturday and general public holidays.

It's a big library available in two floors ( ground and first floor). It's very spacious and has good seating arrangements. Most of the books are of kannada language and few English books are also available. Almost all latest magazines were available related to stocks , technology including kannada magazines. I was looking for jugari cross and few other books written by Poornachandra Tejasvi but could not find them.

Overall a great place to visit if your looking for silent place to read , especially around kundanahalli gate.

I would say.. I am amused in multiple ways.
Govt library with 202 rupees as life time membership to carry home 3 books at given time was least expected.

Very well maintained Library, neat, clean, calm and good infra. Separate kids room if you have kids with you.

My wife comes here every day to prepare for her exams.

I am surprised to hear thay they have multiple locations in Bangalore.

Now....trying to get this habit of going to li rare to my 6 year old daughter.

Timing are very short... 10AM to 530PM
This is the only thing I am unhappy about.

Weekly off on Monday.

I am posting only Kids section photos here. As I haven't taken pics other side in main library section.
