a cool and silent place to study..both outside , inside ambiences are great...all sorts of communication like bus , ola , uber , rapido, auto ,etc are available to this place..the auditorium here is also good...

All of the books were related to philosophy, Religion and other stuffs if only there were novels and other books it would be perfect The environment inside the library is good but the sound from the surrounding is bothersome and loud The people attending to visitors are very good but they themselves make noise sometimes i would appreciate it if they don't make noise inside the library

Presently closed due to Corona pandemic.This library is situated at the middle of Guwahati City, surrounding areas are beautiful, Ravindra Bhawan, State Museum, RBI building and Dighalipukhuri.Very good collection of Literature books in Assamese, Bengali and English language.Good to spent time here.
