Shaktinagar Singrauli N.T.P.C. THermal Power Plant

NTPC plant of 2000MW thermal energy generation capacity.The NTPC's PLF (plant load factor) is high at around 98% and it is the mother plant of NTPC all over India. It was established in 1975 and started its operations in 1980 with 7 units operating (200MW * 5 and 500MW * 2). The source of water it uses is the Rihand Dam and the source of coal is the NCL mines around Shaktinagar like Jayant, Duddhichua, Nigahi, Kakri, Khadia and Bina.

The flagship power station of NTPC because from here the journey of NTPC began. It's a 2015 MW thermal power station located at Shaktinagar in Sonebhadra district of UP. Shaktinagar is connected to Varanasi, Allahbad and Lucknow by rail. By road Varanasi is 200 km.

Very good place ... The environment is polluted due to power plant.and coal mines .. bt the place us very good and roads are very bad .. here .. due to heavy vehicles running very fast .. bt the look from helipad is very beauty full
