Howrah G.P.O.

This Head Post Office of Howrah District, situated at howrah maidan besides of Howrah Municipality Corporation, just opposite of howrah district court. A 15 minutes walk in distance from Howrah Station.All type of Postal services are available here. Main problem is long Q. If you are local here then you can avoid Q if you are for Speed post or parcel services. Just come to Mail Business office ( RMS) after 4 p.m. onwards. Entrance is howrah head post office building's main gate just besides of howrah municipality corporation gate. There are also India Post Payments Bank office. You can open Internet app based payments bank account just in 2 minutes instant. Visit during office hour. Need lots of improvement. Most of staffs are lazy and too late to do their job.

Situated just at the end of the left flank of Bankim Setu towards Howrah Maidan. Just 10 minutes from Howrah Maidan and 5 minutes from Howrah Junction. It is the Head Post-Office in the district of Howrah of Indian Post.

But note that the road is a one-way road , so you cannot come by any transport directly from Howrah Maidan. Many private buses like 52 , 75 , Dasnagar Mini , Banksara Mini takes this route and passes just in front of this Post Office.

This place situated at howrah maidan, beside howrah court. It's 10 minutes walk in distance from howrah station. The structure is reconstructed now. But their service remain same for some unprofessional stuff. But their speed post service are better now.

By far my worst experience at any post office across all of India... Being a Govt office the staff is extremely rude, unprofessional, unkind, heartless and the staff here does not care about others feelings at all even one bit. I have no problem with them being proud of their culture and being a Bengali, but they need to know, learn and understand that this is India which a country of such a diverse and proud multicultural society and they need not shout at anyone who does not know Bengali and it's not their fault and instead just concentrate on helping them out with their issues as that's what they are getting paid for.

Most worst G.P.O. i have ever seen. I went there for post a parcel for London. They said UK is not saved in their desktop or software. !!!

Received good sevice here in the percel department. Staff working in the parcel room were very helpful and cordial.

They put the false statements they don't even come and don't even at least at once put the false statements.... vry poor..Delivery service is very very very poor.. I don't want to give them this 1 rating even. Custom services is even very poor. It's not a joke ,please be serious about the parcels. The contact number is not even valid. Instead of shouting try to help the people for what you all are paid.
